Let’s start by telling us about your business.

Breinfuel introduces a new generation of Cerebral Beverages that fuel the brain to respond with alertness, focus, and productivity. It is a scientifically-derived blend of coffee, teas, collagen, and antioxidants.
Breinfuel bridges the gap between health and energy, providing the best of both. It was formulated by a surgeon and pharmaceutical scientist with a track record of disruptive innovations.
Whether you need intense concentration, fortitude to power through ‘the wall,’ or need to be at the top of your game, Breinfuel is the high-performer’s secret weapon.

Q: Please tell us how you make sure your customers will become raving fans of your company?

At Breinfuel, we want to be admired not for what we achieve or even how we achieve it but for why we exist and what we stand for. Our mission is to serve health-conscious individuals by providing them with a tool to unlock their best performance and well-being. By consistently seeking the highest quality in our ingredients, brand, and team, we aim to resonate with our consumers and welcome them to the Breinfuel community.

Q: Please tell us the one thing that separates your business from the competition?

The fundamental premise of Breinfuel is to understand what caffeine is and what it is not. Caffeine is too often misunderstood to be energy or fuel, but it is merely a brain stimulant in reality. Therefore, it needs to be supported with proper powers that work together to help the brain and body respond to that stimulus. Many caffeinated beverages either have zero calories (no fuel) or high-fructose corn syrup (toxic energy) and in doing so, risk causing jitters and crashes. Breinfuel, on the other hand, provides significant amounts of proteins, vitamins, and other antioxidants to support the absorption of caffeine and prevent the brain from going into oxidative stress.

Q: To finish this section, please tell us what is the one primary key to your company’s success?

The key to Breinfuel is taking a physiological approach to formulating a beverage with ingredients that we consider to be essential and have significant potential health benefits. This starts with sourcing caffeine from unroasted green coffee beans and green tea to extract the best parts of coffee and avoid the toxic byproducts of roasting it. Then, by adding fuels such as collagen and MCT oil and antioxidants like vitamins C and E, beetroot, zinc, creatine, and more, Breinfuel allows the brain to respond optimally to caffeine.

In addition to our commitment to science, it is also imperative to remain passionate about building a great culture for our team and community. We know it will be a long and winding journey to success, but we are confident that a powerful vision combined with the fortitude to manifest it will make all the difference.

Q: For our readers just starting to build a company, what advice can you give entrepreneurs starting out with a new venture?

There have been two main takeaways from my experience with Breinfuel that could potentially be useful for an aspiring entrepreneur.
First, understand that we are what we think about, and it is essential to feed the mind with articles, studies, books, podcasts, and other resources that are relevant to our cause. This can range from studying the mindset of successful people to the detailed nuances of a particular industry or category.
Second, immerse yourself in networks and communities of high-performing individuals. There are numerous accelerator programs, masterminds, and other groups that tend to be people with entrepreneurial ambitions. It is wonderful how willing people are to help when approached genuinely and respectfully.
Dream big, never think the stage is too large for you, and make sure you believe in your product period.

Q: For entrepreneurs seeking to build a business as successful as yours, what big piece of advice can you give them when times get a little challenging?

True success requires confronting failure and challenges repeatedly, or your idea would already exist. When building your team, two of the most critical attributes are speed and versatility. Mistakes and hurdles are inevitable, but the pace at which you can work through them and how adaptable you are to evolving variables will play a large part in determining your success.

Q: In today’s fast-changing business environment, how do you stay abreast of things?

I consistently use Google Scholar to find relevant research and data to support my mission as an inventor. To track and manage our team’s progress, we use various tools such as Asana, Google Drive, Hubspot, Marco Polo, and more. At first, it was overwhelming to learn how to use all of these technologies simultaneously, but it has paid off in helping our team efficiently and cohesively.

Q: What is your “Why”? In one sentence, why do you get up in the morning?

I genuinely wake up each morning excited to seize the day. There is more to do in a lifetime than I will ever be able to, so I want to make the most of every opportunity.

Q: In one sentence, what is the most important thing one has to do to be a great leader?

Leaders that I idolize, such as Steve Jobs and Elon Musk, can combine exceptional vision for the future with unparalleled work ethic.

Q: In one sentence, describe how important your customers are to your business?

Our company exists to serve our customers in their pursuit of health, performance, and fulfillment – they must be serviced well and know how much we value them.

Q: In one sentence, describe a positive way that technology can make the world a better place?

It brings us all closer together, with more immediate access to ideas, ways of life, and the future of what this planet needs.

Q: In one sentence, tell us something positive to motivate our readers?

In such an unprecedented whirlwind of a year, we continue to learn how strong we are individually and as a community – and the evolution of better technology and healthier products across many industries will make us even more robust.

Q: In one sentence, tell us how you start your day to get ready?

Crush some foes on Words with Friends, search for some ideas I’m exploring on Google Scholar, the game plan for the day with my team, and recommit daily to our mission and values.

Q: In one sentence, describe how you handle rejection and setbacks?

My thought is rejection means an idea is not well-suited for today’s environment, likely either too far ahead of its time or not meeting the requirements of the status quo market – it can be a reason to reconsider, pivot, or move forward on one’s course.

Q: In one sentence, describe what your hiring philosophy is?

Find assertive, passionate individuals not intimidated to put forth their best effort and choose growth every day.

Q: In one sentence, describe how you keep your sanity in a competitive business environment?

I like to think I thrive in a competitive environment because it pushes me to be at my best, but I also believe it is essential to take some time each day to relax, unwind, and spend some quality time with my family.
